Even Small Victories Are Inspiring

I had my first NSV last night with my trainer. She measured my body fat and I've lost 1.3% since my first weigh in 10 days ago. The scale has not been as kind - going up two pounds (which, as of this morning, I've finally dropped) but the fact that my body fat is shrinking makes all of my hard work over the last couple of weeks worthwhile and it inspires me to keep on going.

What are your small, but inspiring weigh loss moments?

Well done!!! It all adds up, if only we could remind ourselves of that instead of being unhappy about small weight losses.

I haven't lost an entire size yet, but I can wear some clothes that I couldn't wear before. I used to not be able to wear button down shirts because they would pull apart and the buttons would show where I gained the weight. If I chose a larger size, I'd be swimming in a boxy shirt that didn't look right either.

The other day, I put one of those kinds of shirts on, slipped a tank top underneath and got tons of compliments!

See, that's what I mean. I haven't seen the difference in my clothes yet, but my boyfriend said my ribcage felt smaller and my arms look a little thinner. Progress!

Yey for small NSV's! I'm looking forward to my 3rd weigh in on monday morning but after nearly 3 weeks of hard graft spending 6 days a week at the gym on the cross trainer or gym classes (body pump/body combat and LBT) I noticed last night (apologies for details) that my bum definitely seemed smoother (toning?) ! i asked my fiancé for a second opinion and he agreed also! this pleases me greatly lol
