Anyone seen Seinfeld's stand up? Debating on buying tickets (which are "re-sales" and as expensive as h***!).... is it a great show, or just as good on DVD?

    If you were nuts about his Sit-Com back in the day, then go. His show is very similar but without the supporting actors.. So I guess it depends on whether the tickets are within your "value" range. :smile:

    My husband and I went a few years back and LOVED it! We even drove over an hour to see him. We would do it again too!

    Dimplzz - now you have me thinking! I really do want to see him - love his comedy, and to me it's a once in a lifetime thing (geeky, I know). We were going to see him in Vegas, but it's cheaper to pay a premium here in Toronto and see him local!

    Just saw the show tonight and it was GREAAAAAAT!!!!!

    Just had to share! What a thrill - he's a little older, and forgot his set a bit (two flubs), but all in all, it was TERRIFIC!!!

    Which show did you see - the new material? He was so funny. We were four rows from the stage, and could see him pretty up close, and I wasn't expecting him to look so old! What happended to that Jerry from his 30's that I see on tv. Aging sucks.

    We saw him about 6 years ago. It was a little new, a little old. It was a great show though! We were wayy far away and said that if we were to go again, we would get GREAT seats! He did seem a little aged but not to bad.

    Oh, yeah - can you catch this tour somewhere? It was great. CT? NJ? Vegas? We bought scalper's tickets - not because we support the resale industry (although Ticketmaster supports it too - so what are we to do!), but because we wanted great seats.

    I love him - I'm such a nerd. He's my crush - forget the hunky guys, I like the smart, funny ones!

    OHHHH!!! He would LOVE the new show!!!!

    I would highly recommend a trip to Vegas then! There are still tickets available.... (I wish I had a few spare thousand dollars hanging around, and some spare babysitters, and I would be there in a heart beat!).
