Hey guys. So my husband and I just bought a juicer based on research we've done and so now I am coming to you guys for some help. I'm the picky one of the family so I wanted to ask you guys what you have found to be good pairings for veggies and fruits, things you've tried and liked, what veggies mix well together and what to definitely not mix with each other.
Thanks for your ideas and suggestions! I appreciate it!

All of my juices include some dark leafy greens (kale, spinach, collards). I also usually have a cucumber, because they have a lot of water and make a lot of juice. Then I add whatever veggies I have around, usually some parsley, green pepper, celery, ginger. I don't usually add any carrots, because while they don't taste bad, they just make the juice an unappetizing brown color. If I want to add a little sweetness, then I'll put in some apple or lemon. I'll admit, they're not delicious juices, but they do make me feel much better. If you're just starting, spinach and berries make a nice combo. Avoid anything too peppery. I put in a bunch of arugula once, and it was very painful. I also had a recipe that included onion, blech. Basically, just juice what you like, but avoid too much fruit juice and get those leafy greens in.0

This helps me for sure. I'm looking fOrward to feeling better for sure and I'm not going crazy like a 30 day juice fast or anything. I'm trying to cut out all meat too due to some eye opening facts while doing my research. But I'm just straight up sick of feeling ****ty all the time even when I'm eating better. I can always eat better and feed my kids better as well. *fingers crossed*0

I love carrot juice and it mixes well with apple. Apples and carrots make good mixers for most veggies to hide the bitterness with sweet. A little lemon will help it from turning brown to quick, but if you make small amounts and drink it each time the juice stays the color it was as a whole product. Cukes, celery, pears, pineapple, all make good bases and you can make your own V-8 and put in a touch of tapatio to spice it up. Have fun!0
