Anyone try Intermittent fasting?

It's just something that's working for me. Generally, I'm lazy about food (I don't even bother to update my food diary). Basically. I eat healthy snacks during the day (fruits, vegetables, yogurt, kashi bar etc.) then around 4/5 pm. I eat a large meal (around 900 calories). I drink water and Gatorade during the day as well (no soda). I would say I eat and drink about 1400 calories a day. So far I've been dropping weight pretty quickly. I'm not exercising heavily because I just got over bronchitis and I'm nervous about going to the gym.

I just think it's easier than eating multiple planned out meals everyday. I make sure my big meal has a good amount of protein but I don't shy away from carbs or dairy. I only feel hungry starting around 2 pm but I force myself to wait a few more hours until dinner.

I've noticed that I feel fuller on smaller snacks now. This morning I ate a piece of bread with honey on it and it filled me up. I know what I'm doing isn't true fasting (they starve themselves for days) but it's like a mini-fast.

Anyone else try this?

PS: I take vitamins and supplements in the morning. This included B vitamins, D3, R fraction alpha lipoic acid(increases insulin sensitivity), SAMe(for mood) etc.
