Tight jeans, Strength Training

For a while, I've been doing heavier strength training, poor jeans are getting tighter in the calf/thigh area, still losing weight slowly eating at a deficit. Anyone experience this? should I cut back on the strength? I do some form of it maybe 5-6 days. whether free weights (light 5-10pounds) or machines (50-120ish) that's like leg press for (120-130)

    Isn't the point of strength training to build muscle? Why would you want to cut back? Jean size is only a number, so what if you wear a larger size because you've built muscle? It's a good thing.
