i got mine off ebay for like 13 with shipping. It is just a basic one but well worth the money. If you want to message me about it so I can remember I will try to find the person I ordered from on there.0

Yes, try Ebay. I just bought a polar ft7 for $85 shipping included. I looked around so much and finally decided this was the best for the price.
Seriously, I wouldn't try to buy one in that price range. Save up and until you can get one, use MFP estimates and spot check the old fashioned way. I have lost weight without HRM so far, I get mine Wednesday, hopefully. The biggest reason I want it now is that being in maintnance mode I want to be able to eat as close to my exercise calories without going over. A HRM seems the best way to insure I don't start gaining. But really I have lost very well without one. Again, my advice is to be patient, save up and explore your options.
