I have gone up 5 lbs this past year, but my clothing size remains the same. I know people are going to say.. "It's just muscle" but I can't help but be frustrated. I don't know what to do.. scale back my workouts or just embrace my new muscle. It is so disheartening to see the scale going up, not down.

  • Embrace it! One pound of muscle burns more calories while you're resting than a pound of fat. In other words, those five pounds make your metabolism much faster :)

Building lean mass and getting fitter? The horror.

I do HIT with a personal trainer for the past 4 months and went up 5 pounds but my muscles have tone, my *kitten* has indents, and my belly is flatter. Just keep going. Also, remember the food part is essential too.
