I have gone up 5 lbs this past year, but my clothing size remains the same. I know people are going to say.. "It's just muscle" but I can't help but be frustrated. I don't know what to do.. scale back my workouts or just embrace my new muscle. It is so disheartening to see the scale going up, not down.

Embrace it! One pound of muscle burns more calories while you're resting than a pound of fat. In other words, those five pounds make your metabolism much faster0

I do HIT with a personal trainer for the past 4 months and went up 5 pounds but my muscles have tone, my *kitten* has indents, and my belly is flatter. Just keep going. Also, remember the food part is essential too.0
