So last night I started sneezing and today I am full out sore throat, runny nose headache stupid sick for the first time since I've been on MFP.
Anyone have any advice about if I should or should not work out? I don't exaclty feel like jogging on a teadmill but if I'm convinced it will make feel better and boost immunity then I will.

Any suggestions?

I started coming down with the same thing on Monday.

I trained on Monday and Tuesday. I did cardio this morning and then I felt like I was going to black out at work this morning so I left early.

If you have what I have, the worst is yet to come.

I was supposed to train back & biceps tonight but I shut it down. Not worth the setback it could cause.

I've heard that if you feel up to it, a light workout is OK...as long as your illness isn't in your lungs. If you have a cough or chest congestion, you should wait it out.

Well, on the "doctors" they said if it's from the neck up, go ahead. If it's below the neck, don't. So like, throwing up no, or a chest cold no, but a head cold yes.

if you're sick there's NOTHING wrong with waiting until you feel better to resume workouts. Go for a light walk instead, the fresh air will feel nice.

I say rest all you can - your body needs it. You'll probably get over the illness quicker if you treat your body right, and then back to real exercise sooner in the end anyway. Now once you really feel like you're over it and maybe just have some lingering symptoms, some cardio could do some good to flush the system more - but only after you're sure you're through the bad part & starting to feel better.

This is exactly what I was going to say.
