I am going out to eat to an Italian restaurant tonight....I have about 969 calories left over. Such a stressful :huh: thing and it shouldn't be! Have a great night.

    dd, you can do this.
    Salad is great. try to get your dressing on the side, and then load up. use the pasta as a side dish choice, ( I scrape it out from under my meat. or order it ala carte. choose, chicken with a sauce if that's your only option, and ask for the sauce on the side, it always freaks them out..its fun. only have one bread stick or slice of garlic bread. look for light fare choices. you can do this. remember wine and desserts are lethal. so just nibble and sip. :flowerforyou:

    you can eat pasta occasionally and not ruin yourself. Eat slowly and remember you don't have to eat everything put in front of you -- skip the breads & dessert but enjoy a glass of RED wine with your dinner. Enjoy your evening out.

    Well I am done with the dinner and I think I did well. I had 1/2 of a steak (ended up being 4oz) about 1/2 of a sweet potatoe. asparagus and I split a wedge of salad with my DH....and YES I had that glass of red wine.....I figure I can diet but there is no sense of me stopping my life? Tomorrow is a new day and I will shoot or an hr on the treadmill.....

    That was great!!! you did fantastic. a glass of red wine isn't going to hurt your progress (me, I think by the bottle:laugh: ) you made all good choices and didn't take it as an opportunity to really let go and cheat. that was a hugh success and you should be very proud of you. I am:drinker:
