Annoying Neighbors

A thread about any annoying habits your neighbors may have! LOL!

Well... I'm at my mother's house visiting, so they're not really MY neighbors, but they definitely inspired this post. :grumble:

EVERYTIME I'm here... I hear the married couple (they have kids too) when I sleep in my mom's room, and they're either fighting to a scary *kitten* level where we feel the need to call the police... OR having really loud sex n banging their bed against our wall (it's a small apartment...). I mean even before when I lived here the kids room was next to mine, but they're kids so I didn't get annoyed AS much, but... come on you're "adults".

that sounds awful.. i hate annoying neighbors... my upstairs neighbors put in a laminate floor three years ago and didnt put the proper padding underneath, so all day long (i work from home) i hear "POUND! POUND! POUND!" across the whole condo, they just bang on the floor in the kitchen for no reason, and they move furniture right over our bedroom at 3am... they're horrible

Thanks for this thread, I really need to complain about my neighbor. I'm at the end of the hall in residence which means I only have one neighbor. My previous neighbor and I were pretty good friends and we were both night owls, so we never really cared if the other was making noise. She moved out over Christmas and a new girl moved in. Well, 2 weeks ago she put in a noise complaint against me because I was a little loud over skype. Yes, I will admit I was being loud, but I put up with this girl's **** two weeks before hand. She does dishes and drops things at like 1 am, watches movies on surround sound at random hours, and plays music after midnight super loud on weekdays.. its like AH HELLOOO I have class in the morning, its 1 30 and you're playing your music. One time it was so loud that the wall between our two rooms was shaking and my picture fell off the wall. :grumble: Yesterday I finally got tired of being nice and putting up with it and went and complained. I felt really good for some strange reason when I saw the noise complaint memo sticking out from under her door. It's been quiet the last few nights and hopefully it stays that way.

I don't have neighbors anymore, it's FANTASTIC! A river to one side and a house that's generally only used during weekday days for mentally challenged kids to learn life skills.

That being said... In my old apt I had a grouchy old lunch lady downstairs who would yell up the stairs if we were too loud. Mind you, being too loud was dropping something on the floor, or watching tv.

Had another one in that same building on the other side of me who knocked on the door one night and said "I would appreciate it if you would stop breaking into my apartment," my boyfriend and I were like WHAT is she talking about?? Did weird stuff like that all the time.

Now we have a house, pretty much due to those insane biyatches.

Loool... I've never had neighbor problems till I moved to smaller more close nit places

No problems with neighbors here...my closest one is a 1/2 mile away. :laugh: Well her donkeys do bray loud...but that doesn't bother us.
