Is there a decent brand of "diet" pills out there for a cheap price? I'm not talking about magical pill to make me lose weight instantly. I'm talking about the kind that say with proper diet and exercise it can help you burn like 15% more body fat or something.

If you take one aspirin, or benadryl, or multi-vitamin, or even a spoonful of sugar, combined with diet and exercise, you'll lose weight.
Either they're nothing more than caffeine, or just plain placebos. You don't need them, no more than Dumbo needed his magic feather to fly or Dorothy needed the wizard to get home.

I think that most of them just have some form of caffeine in them.0

I know little to nothing about diet pills... except my BF tried hydroxycut and its worthless lol...
BUT I take a fiber suppliment 1-2x a day and they help fill you up and help with cholesterol (which is why I started them)
Last time i went on a weight loss kick (i lost and kept off 55lbs) I took 2-3 capsules when I got hungry (30 min before each meal) and it helped me control portions and stopped me from binging.
You get a big bottle of capsules for under $10 bucks...0 -
I've heard Green Tea has ALOT of benefits including weight loss.....but of course, like you said it has to be taking along with clean eating and exercise. It would be just an extra boost.
Another thing I've heard on Dr. Oz show is that people who take Safflower Oil has lost more weight compared to those who don't.

I personally think that the majority of diet pills on the market are a ploy to get your money. I don't believe that they work and most of them just contain natural metabolism boosters like caffeine anyway.0

Supplements are just that... Supplemental to your diet they won't work unless your exercise and diet is dialled in. I take a few supplements mostly for how they make me feel and perform and to some degree thats valid right there but none of them won't do the work for me! You got to work hard at your goals consistently.0

I recommend taking CLA. It is similar to Hydroxycut. Except CLA is all natural and about half the price. I order my online form bulknutrition.com. You can get it really cheap there. It just helps you maintain lean muscle mass and increases the amount of fat you burn off from exercise.0

I'm not convinced that diet pills work. If they did everyone would be on them and see results, right?
...and with some of them people have gotten some bad side effects. 0 -
i've tried hydroxycut, slimquick, and a couple others. I'm losing more weight now by not taking anything and just exercising and watching what I eat...i won't waste my money anymore.0

            Thanks for the info guys.
Like I said in my OP, I'm not looking for some magical pill that will make me drop tons of weight with no work. I am eating healthier and excercising often. I was just looking into a pill that can help with the fat burn with diet and excercise.0 -

A relative of mine uses Alli...you have to stay under a certain amount of fat grams for each meal and it supposedly helps prevent your body from absorbing it. I've never used it, but she's lost some weight with it.0 -
Yea Alli is the only FDA approved weight loss drug avail over the counter, It works by binding to some of the fat that you eat and keeping it from being absorbed by the body, The only bad thing (side effect) is that it makes the stool so loose that some people cant hold it, this happens because that fat has to go out somewhere, It is recommended that you take a multivitamin each day to replace some of the vitamins that are lost. It cost about 30 dollars at walmart, Personally I wont take it because it like to have control over my bathroom time instead of it having control over me. But It will help you lose an additional pound or so a week.0
