Less Weight = Faster Runs

I am actually amazed at how much my weight loss has affected my running pace. I did a 13 mile training run this morning with a negative split and an overall pace of 10:15 min/mi. Second half of the run was below 10:00 min/mi. Mile 13 was 9:23.

I never thought I would be able to run this fast. I still have a little more than 25 pounds to lose, and I wonder how much faster I can get.
