Best tennis shoes???

What kind of tennis shoes are good for walking, crosstraining etc. I've had Merrill shoes & they fit great, but are they really for fitness or looks? Had Vasque, but I hate them. Have had cheap ones just for knocking around, but really no good ones for fitness. There are so many that I was just trying to get an idea of what the majority wore & I might give those a try if they feel good when I try them on. You know how it is, they might feel good trying them on, but feel like crap after wearing them. Working out isn't so important b/c you aren't moving around that much, but walking is most important. Want them comfy..................Thanks

I tell everyone who asks this question the same thing. If you are going to do any walking or running in them at all, visit your local running store and go through the fit process for a proper running shoe. Those guys are experts who will ask you questions, check out your feet and biomechanics then suggest the right shoes for your body and situation. They will also work with you until you get it right- even if it means trying tons of options. Don't be afraid to be honest with them about how you feel. Good luck.0
