I take a protein shake a day.. and I always seem to be over my suggested protein limit..... Is there such thing as too much protein??

It's very hard to get too much protein, and its generally accepted that the default levels on MFP are quite low. So unless you're taking in way in excess of 100-150g per day, you're fine.
It's very useful if you're doing any sort of strength training or muscle building.
What are your reasons for taking a protein shake?0 -
The program I'm on is made up of 1 or 2 protein shakes a day.. its for weightloss and the shakes fill me up.. if I take the shakes once a day every day I normally lose 3-5 lbs a week0
