I have been diagnosed with insulin resistance and PCOS as well as an underactive thyroid for about 10 years now. I have lost 10 pounds in about 3 weeks and since then I have had heavy mid cycle bleeding. I am on Metformin, birth control and a low dose of Levoxl.
I have read that fat loss can affect estrogen levels and in turn affect cycles, but I'm a little concerned and just wanted to see if any other women have experienced this as well.
