don't you dare!
usually, i am all for a little allowance, but since you want help - and i keep finding myself in your same position.
if you must, have a piece of fruit -- ideally, an apple, but an orange is okay. eat it slowly, focusing on the fruit, and drink two glasses of water while you eat it.
then go get busy - do something distracting enough so you stop thinking about it.
good luck!0 -
Or ask someone for one hard candy and suck on it.
Email a friend to vent or say I love you (the best thing is you'll get one back!)0 -
Whenever I am tempted, I think of this saying "Don't give up what you really want for what you want right now." It usually helps keep me motivated.0

dont give in you can do it.0

thanks!!! I needed a little check there. I ate a small apple and the water then went ahead and washed the dirty dishes sitting in the sink. I feel alot better and full! It will be easier the stay motivated tomorow knowing didnt go over 1,000 cals! I'll save the hardcandy "one" for another "moment of temptation" lol
Thanks again :flowerforyou:0 -
This would be a good opportunity to take a bad habit and that you might have had in the past, like emotional eating and replace it with a new one. Thats why you create new habits and you dont have to rely on will power that always makes us give in. So think of something else you could do when you are having a stressful moment.
Or think to yourself what about the taste do you like. Could you think of an alternative that would satisfy you but you wouldnt have the guilt?0 -
good point. I'll try to think of something. Some times I clean so maybe I can make that my only option.. instead of eating. thanks!:flowerforyou:0
