Hey all,
I just wanted to ask your opinions on sparkling water. It's flavored and carbonated , do you still count it as your daily water intake or should just plain simple untouched water by your "water intake" for the day? I quite drinking carbonated beverage 2 years ago but I hate water and tried a black raspberry sparkling water this morning that I might be able to drink more so then not but not really sure if I should count it towards my 8 glasses a day daily struggle. lol. What do you think? Especially since I gave up carbonated drinks so long ago, I'd hate to restart drinking them if its not worth it.

Yes you can count it in your water intake. Heck I count milk in mine, but also log it into my calories.

You know that bottled water and water from the tap isn't just water too, right? If it works for you, then do it that way. Some people need to drink more liquids than others, and liquids can come in many forms. I stopped tracking my liquid intake because I know I drink a lot. If I am dehydrated, I know it.

I count it, but I make my own. I have a SodaStream. I use tap water and flavor it with essential oils (usually citrus, sometimes peppermint).
