The lipsynching was not good, but she looked amazing. I agree about the cheerleader thing being too 'young' for her now, but after the Black Eyed Peas made me want to gouge my eardrums out last year, I thought it was entertaining for the most part.

I really liked the performance. I wish she didn't lipsync but overall it was good. The light show that accompanied the performance was great from the aerial view. M.I.A. didn't have to flip off the audience though lol.

I don't understand people's negative attitudes about lip-synching. It is next to impossible to get a good audio signal to your television for something like that. It's hard to get good live audio for those in attendance. Also, most people cannot sing and dance very well. Many can do one or the other, but both at the same time is very difficult to pull off live.

Whether you like Madonna or not, this was a SHOW, not a singing performance. She entertained. I understand that lip-synching seems fake and "cheating" - and to some extent it is. But the performance was about the show. And I think she delivered.

I'm disappointed about MIA's choice to flip the bird, though. Not because (gasp!) it's inappropriate and our children's minds could be destroyed, but because her actions are being talked about more than the performance. I'm a big MIA fan, but wish she hadn't done that. Although it is comical how prudish we all are.

Didn't watch it. I turn to the Puppy Bowl at halftime. The puppies and kitties are so cute!

This is what I should have done! Instead I subjected myself to that horrible half-time show! I thought it was awful meanwhile all my friends on facebook were saying "Best Half-time Show Ever" or "Madonna Rocked"...I felt like I was in the twilight zone...clearly we weren't watching the same show!

I think it was pathetic. She can't dance well enough to do that anymore. I kept thinking she was going to break a hip. Not to mention she's old and not popular anymore. Luckily, LMFAO saved her *kitten* and it was an overall decent time.

Oh yeah, maybe she should try actually singing sometime.

I don't really care about Madonna lip syncing she has always done that, she is not a strong vocalist she is a performer. I like Madonna but the cartwheels and the cheer-leading song LUV Madonna, to me aged her. She looks great, she is strong as hell, I couldn't do what she does now and I'm almost 20yrs younger, it just looked odd at certain parts. She didn't need to prove she can do all of that, her fans know how great she is. She worked her butt off but I was bored. The worst thing was M.I.A I don't find her talented and for her to flip the bird, what was the point? That was not cool at all!

We loved it! I thought she did a great job. I don't have any problem with lip syncing during shows either.

I completely agree! I thought it was timeless and should have appealed to lots of people. Much better performance than the past years and no "wardrobe malfunction."

I liked him too. But, it's not a wire....it's a slackline. Fun workout option- got to try one this summer....takes mad skills. Very cool.

I thought LMFAO cheapened (not sure if that's a word! LOL) the performance. She is way too big to need the likes of them in her show..that's the only thing that bothered me. Cee-Lo, I figured was there because The Voice was going to be shown right after the super bowl.
