Anyone else having trouble with syncing fitbit to base??

Hi all,

I just received my fitbit ultra by mail today after waiting for 27 days (I live in Canada so they said 2-4 weeks). Anyhow I was so excited to get started. Downloaded softwear no problem, howver, when it came to the step to add base and fitbit it would not take my fitbit..it keep saying repress button and try again. I emailed and phoned and obviously like everyone has said, customer service a bit of a problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all, resetting base by using toothpick in bottom of base, and checking to see if it needs updating by right clicking etc etc and it doesnt. Says softwear up to date, but still not working. Question...what can I do :( My fitbit will not even light up or turn on when it is on base..so wondering it fhis is normal. I cant even tell that I have hit the button as it doesnt really move...or light up or anything.....any advice would be great!!

    Deleted my answer because I didn't read the question right and the syncing from yesterday is now apparently working.

    Did you try the fitbit customer service? They're pretty awesome and helpful.
