When you get the urge to snack? It's ridiculous, all day long I just want to munch! I'm more of a grazer than a big meal person but all that snacking adds up so quickly! So what do you to keep yourself from eating out of boredom?

    I usually try to trick myself.
    Squeeze some lemon into a glass of ice water, drink a diet soda, anything that has flavor and will distract you away from thinking that you're hungry when really you're just bored and eating is what you're used to doing.
    And when I really can't resist I have some celery and carrots and dip it in red pepper hummus from the store. Low in calories and tastes so good!

    Yeah, second the having a drink. Also, do some exercise and then it distracts you a little.

    Or, do something fun that you enjoy that you'll enjoy and will help you forget about eating....especially if it's something that keeps your hands free (eg. I play piano, so that works) 'cause if you choose something like watching a movie, then your hands are free for snacking which isn't good.

    i try and drink water to quench it, a lot of the time i find that i'm really just dehydrated and i've always thought i've been hungry!..
