i'm looking for some insight into frequency of strength training. i was very focused on cardio only during my weight loss process, but now i'm about at my goal and would like a little more definition in my muscles. i've started to do fewer reps at heavier weights, and have increased my protein intake, but i want to make sure i'm doing enough. i do a 45 minute upper body workout once a week, lower once a week, and core once a week. is this enough, or should i be doing all three at the same time? does it matter? i just ordered the new workout rules book for women, but i wanted to get a head start before it arrives.
thanks!

I would say that is enough, especially starting out. Just make sure you get a days rest (from weight training, you can still do cardio) between each session and use correct form
Good luck!0
