Superbowl was BORING!!!

I have never seen a more boring superbowl in my life. No blitzing, no big plays downfield. Just dink and dunk passing and a mediocre running attack. Then throw in Al Michales and Chris Collinsworth as the announcers. Man, thats like listeing to a couple of old men talking politics at a back yard bar-b-q. Terrible, terrible game. And Madonna at half? Really?? A geriatric in a body suit? And C-Lo green??? man, that dude needs some MFP lovin!!! The whole night was a joke!

    I didn't think the game was that bad. At least the score was close. I hate a blow out.

    I didn't bother with Madonna. I watched the Puppy Bowl instead.

    I didn't even watch it, was watching some weird Japanese movie.

    NFL doesn't do anything for me, I'm a college guy.

    I agree........BORING! Blah.

    Even the commercials sucked! What the heck.............can't even be entertained between the game???

    And Madonna? Well, it wasn't the worst I've seen, but REALLY.........can the Super Bowl get some real entertainment again? All we get is these old rockers and fading stars.............although I gotta say that Miss M looked pretty damn good for a broad in her 50's (and I can say that, cuz I'M a broad in her fifties!)

    We normally host a Super Bowl party, but since we just bought a new house and are in the process of painting, etc. so we can move in - no hosting for us this year. We did watch but I had zero interest in either of the teams playing. So, while my hubby watched the game I read and paused for commercials.

    True...there weren't many big, exciting plays. But, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Patriots lose...I dislike that it came at the hands of a Giants win; but c'est la vie.

    As for the commericals...I saw 3 that I enjoyed & made me laugh: The M&M's, Doritos & John Stamos getting a head butt. And of course the half-naked David Beckham one was quite drool-worthy :bigsmile:

    I didn't think the commercials were that great this year. There is usually a couple I think are funny but I don't really remember any specific one I liked that much.

    I hate the patriots so it felt so good to watch them suffer. That first play with the safety started things out just right for me.
