I've been with MFP since October 2011 and have really been on track (minus a few slip-ups...I'm human), and I've dropped almost 10 pounds so far. My clothes are looser and my husband says that he notices a difference in me. But, why do I look in the mirror and feel even worse now than I did before?? I feel heavier and to be honest...gross. Is this a phase? I thought losing weight is supposed to make me feel better...now, I'm seeing more bulges in places I hadn't noticed before...am I going crazy?

I don't know the answer, but my fiance is the same way. She's lost a bunch of weight and looks awesome, but she's even more nagative about her body than she was when she was 20 lbs heavier (and still looked awesome).0

Losing weight wont help your self esteem issues. You need to look inside and work out why you are unhappy about yourself. You could get down to 125lbs and still be unhappy, so you need to understand why. x0
