Hello Everyone,

I am a grandmother . . . Ella Kenzie was born 8lbs. 11oz.
I got to be one of my daughters birth coaches and after a long labor and 3 hours of pushing Ella was born with grammy videotaping a C-section . . . My heart rate was so high I am sure I burned massive calories. It is an unbelievable experience of watching your own child give birth to the next generation. Even though Ella has only been here a few days I LOVE HER SO MUCH ALREADY :love: I am getting lots of snuggle time in between my workouts :happy: The beautiful pictures of her were taken by her Daddy !

Next grand baby is due in 14 days :noway: It is going to be a busy spring at our house !

    On a side note, pretty cool that you were allowed to video tape the c-section. Many hospitals won't allow that for liability's sake.

    Now that you mention it Lauryn, you are right. My hubby tried to set up the camcorder during my last delivery (vaginal) and doc said no way, have to turn it off once we start getting close to push-out time. Interesting.

    I was surprised also . . . They even had me stand where I could get a real good shot of EVERYTHING . . .
    I am NOT good with blood and I did fine taping but I can't watch it now :noway:

    congrats- from what my mom says being a grandma is awesome you get to spoil them all you want load them up with sugar and send them back home with their parents while they are litterally jumping off the walls- lol-
    Spoil them rotten- enjoy and congrats on the new edition and the soon to be newest edition. good job on your weightloss as well

    CONGRATULATIONS.......I have been enjoying my Great Granddaughter for the past couple of weeks...she is going back to Nevada tomorrow.:cry:

    Congratulations!! I was with my daughter when my next to youngest grandchild was born so I know how you feel about being there when the baby is born. What a wonderful experience. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Enjoy that beautiful new granddaughter, she's beautiful! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

    My daughter that is expecting in 14 days . . . It took them a little over a year to conceive !
