Tips for Achilles Injuries?? Need help!

So as the title says, I am prone to Achilles tendon injuries and it frequently occurs when playing Rugby or doing Muay Thai.

It's been a problem I've dealt with for years and never really wanted to treat it until recently when I've become more athletic.

I use sports wraps to tightly grip the heel and square it with my foot. But are there any ways to strengthen the Achilles tendon that will help relieve the stress on it when playing rugby? It's becoming more and more of a problem as the months come on.
