The February "blah's"...how do YOU beat them and what's keep

So the dreariest month of the year is upon us, and for many people (especially those who live in a colder climate as I do here in Ontario, Canada) it tends to be the hardest month to stay motivated when it comes to their fitness goals and workout routines.
I'm interested in hearing what people are doing to stay motivated and fresh during this dull time of year ? For me, knowing that i have a 30k race to run in late March helps get me off the couch and out the door most days recently. February for me is aa time for building more strength in preparation for the draing summer running months. I look at February as an oppportunity to get stronger, I embrace it as a very important and significant month in my training plan. That keeps me fresh and motivated.
What about everyone else ???

Hey! Fellow Ontarian here (northern Ont to boot!)
I do a lot of indoor cardio while watching my fave TV series (currently catching up on Sons of Anarchy). I also take vitamin D for that extra boost.
My motivation is knowing that I have another competitive season of roller derby ahead of me, and if I want to dominate the track, I have to work for it. That's what keeps me going in the "blah" month (or months...lets face it, it's 9 months of winter here...).

I've started Vitamin D recently but not sure just how much it's helped... But I do feel really good, both physically & emotionally. I tend to have mood swings and they seem to benefit from the D.
Also, I take full advantage of every sunny and non-rainy day by going outside to run/walk and get fresh air.0 -
Well, I tried scarfing down bags and bags of Stacy's Naked Pita Chips but that didn't work out so well.0

I'm not in the Brrr cold temps as you but to break up the treadmill routine I do everyday and add something fun I've been adding an hour to 2 hours every evening of Badminton...I love it! I bundle up with gloves and all but I'm getting out and getting great exercise and lots of fun and you get warmed up really quick.0
