Too much protein?

I have been doing MFP for a week now, and have noticed that every day my calorie breakdown is over on the recommended amount of protein and under on fat and carbs. I am not necessarily trying to lose a lot of weight, but maintain my current weight. I don't try to eat a high protein diet, but I try to eat things I know are healthy for me and this is the way it always breaks down. My question is: How important is it to stick to the recommended calorie breakdown? Intuitively, I think i eat a healthy diet, but now I am starting to wonder if it's balanced enough.

A wide variety of macro's are perfectly fine and healthy....basically there is no optimal ratio. The amount of protein should be based on your activity. 1g/lb/lbm is generally accepted as a good place to start when someone is in a deficit and working out. Fat is based on EFA's and should represent about 3 to 4 % of total calories, other fats are found in the foods we eat and about 20% should be the minimum. Carbs again should be based on your lifestyle, the less active you are the fewer carbs should be consumed, not to be confused with a very low carb diet. As far as your diet is concerned it's hard to say considering you don't give us any info about diet or lifestyle.0

1 - 2g of Protein per lb of lbm and 0.45g - 1g of fat per lb of bodyweight.0 -

I am female, 40 yrs old and exercise regularly (running, strength training and yoga). I stick to a gluten-free diet due to digestive issues. I am 5 ft tall and weigh 122 lbs. MFP recommends 50g of protein (based on 1500 cal diet). this is much lower than your advice.0
