If you can't notice a difference but know you've lost weight

I have a suggestion for anyone out there who has lost weight but can't see or feel a noticeable difference yet. Grab a box and load it up with books or food until it weighs the same amount as what you have lost. When you lift it, realize that you used to carry that much extra weight around daily just 'x' weeks/months ago. It will be an encouragement!
That happened to me recently. I boxed up some books to send to my sister, and I stepped on the scale to see how much it would cost me to send it. It was 15 pounds -- the exact amount of weight I had lost so far. It was amazing to realize that I had been carrying around that much extra weight daily just 4 months before.
Be encouraged and keep it up!
