How accurate do you guys think the nutrition facts are for Moe's? I'm wondering if I should Quick Add 100 calories just to make sure... it seems like I got a LOT of food for 255 calories! It's easy to make a giant plate of food for that many calories at home, but I'm skeptical of a number like that when I eat out.

I realize that the numbers aren't exact since the food is made by people, not machines, so how much of a cushion would you add?

I've never thought about adding a cushion, but if something sounds too good to be true, I research a little more to see if I can find more info. I have no idea what Moe's is!

Oops! It's Moe's Southwestern Grill - I ordered a salad with tofu, pinto beans, cucumber, jalapenos, pico di gallo, and grilled mushrooms. It seemed like she hooked me up with the tofu; I've never been there before, so I don't have a point of reference.
  • Ha - you must be eating much healthier at Moe's than I do. I usually get something that I think is not TOO bad, look up the nutrition info after the fact and think "Holy crap! How was it that many calories!?"

Based on what you got I'd say it maybe pretty close. The lettuce, cukes, peppers, pico(tomatos etc) are all gonna be low and 0 calorie vegetable, and so the majority of your calories is gonna come from the tofu. If you think she gave you more than a "serving" then you could bump it a little but it's probably pretty good.

And I'm the same as Amanda at Moes... Joey Bag of Donuts with cheese, sour cream and chips and queso is probably like 1000. LOL

I've used it before, and I question the sodium content (I think it's low), but everything else seems pretty reasonable. I think the big unknown is the serving size... what the online counter considers a serving vs what you actually get.
