How do you cope after a terrible weekend?

After the past few weeks of being AWESOME, I lost it this weekend and had three horrendous days in a row. Sure enough, all of my hard work was gone as the 3 pounds I lost in the past weeks came back after my sins. I haven't totally lost motivation, but I feel terrible and so disappointed in myself. Any suggestions? I'm already back on the band wagon, but this isn't the first time this has happened...how can I prevent it in the future?

Keep calm and log on. There's nothing you can do to change what happened, so get back on track and keep eating healthfully. Maybe keep something motivational around to look at when you're tempted - a pic of you at a high weight, or inspiration pics.

 success is inspirational.......disaster is educational....analyze your weekend and see what you can learn from it

The best way to prevent it in the future is to plan it. Plan some time to just eat what you want - that way you realize that you can be super strict the rest of the time, and then friggin' RELAX for a day.

If you start planning your "bad days" they're a sign of your control, not your lack of control. They don't become mistakes, they become an actual part of your plan. That way you can't beat yourself up for "falling off the wagon".

Think of your plan to get healthier as a long highway. Sometimes you want to keep on driving, but other times you need to stop for a break and stretch your legs for a bit.

No one expects someone to be perfect on their eating habits 100% of the time - so why should you?

You will get back on the highway and keep on trucking. :)

Back in the saddle. You didn't learn to walk by giving up when you fell down. You can be strong!
