Agreed! I live in Greenville/Spartanburg, SC, and there used to be a Jack In the Box on nearly every corner. I know of at least three that have shut down in the last year, and a few more that are on their way out. I haven't even seen a Jack In the Box commercial in over a year. That tells me the company is in big trouble financially. My guess would be because their food is DISGUSTING!!!

I'm also from Greenville, and Jack-in-the-Box is going the way of Sonic (which is too bad, since Sonic is much better) in terms of extinction. I'd never eaten at a JitB before moving down south.

I can't help but feel that if JitB did more of what McDonald's has done in terms of expanding their menu to generally healthier (I said generally...one has to make allowances in their food diary for even a snack wrap or salad there) options, they wouldn't have been in this sort of trouble.
