Slightly embarrasing NSV

I have been going swimming in the mornings before work for a while and normally I pack my bag the night before so I can grab it and go. Well I thought I'd done the same on Monday, but turns out I;d not packed any knickers!!!! I couldn;t go the whole day commando as my trousers are threatening to fall down all the time and I have no smaller ones at the moment.

I popped to the local supermarket before I needed to be in school to buy some knickers. The largest size they had at a reasonable price was 2 sizes smaller than the ones I have at home.

What a revelation, not only did they fit, but they stayed up all day. Now I realise I really need to buy some new clothes as it remoinded me what it was like to have clothes that fit rather than fall down!

    YAY!!! It feels great when your clothes start hanging off, but it also feels FABULOUS to have to buy new SMALLER clothes that fit perfectly. Undies totally count!!

    A few years ago I dropped a couple of pounds... and my skirt fell off at the grocers!

    Careful, you might become a lingere junky - it is a true condition that occurs as weight falls off and you regain your shape. '-)

    Congrats! This is an awesome feeling (perhaps to counter the annoying feeling of your clothes falling off in other regards)!
    I too fit into smaller undies today! We'll see if they hold up through my workout though...

    He he he, thanks guys! Half term starts at teh end of the week, I may get my suitcase of too small tops out and see if any are suitable for work yet, otherwise, shopping trip here I come!

    I had to read everyone else's comments for context to figure out what the old timey word "knickers" meant. I sometimes wear brief knickers and sometimes boxer knickers. :o)
