    Be careful! Meet in a public place, make sure your friends and family know where you are going. Just be safe!

    I met my fiance on myspace a couple of years ago! :) Our two year anniversary is on the 26th of this month. Good luck with everything!

    You never know. I'm aware of a few people who've met on mutual interest websites and formed long-term relationships. On the other hand, I've met 2 guys myself after talking to them online for months only to find out they weren't what they'd claimed. One in particular makes me laugh. He'd claimed to bde 5'8" tall. Well, I'm 5'4", but had to lean over to hug him when I got out of my car. He'd also neglected to inform me that he had some serious health problems and that he really wanted me to move across the state and become his live-in nurse, cook, housecleaner and personal ATM. The other guy was nice enough but I got suspicious, ran a background check, and found he'd lied: HE WAS MARRIED AND STILL WITH HIS WIFE, lol.

    I think it might not be a bad place to meet like minded people with similar backgrounds. Though safety is always the most important thing though lots of people meet on the internet these days.

    I'm sure I could meet my partner here, I've met a few people online. :) Just be cautious and go slow. I know a lot of people who met online and are happily married.

    Like jamie said we spent all day together yesterday
    And it was a beautiful day :)
    The best thing was connecting in person like we have on here :)
    We are seeing each other again this weekend he's taking me to the zoo hehe :)
    Soooo that's the update for now :)

    I know =\ the fact is these days it is no different than meeting someone anywhere else! I met someone at church and she was a psycho! haha

    The emotions that I have for him are things that I didn't think I'd ever experience for myself.

    He took me out last night and I found myself staring at him, smiling hugely, and biting my lip... Wouldn't want the wrong words to come out befor pe the time is right. Beside, we agreed a few months ago that we aren't "allowed" to talk about feelings when alcohol is involved :wink:

    I just heard this great guy speak and he brought up a good point - don't online date anyone that lives more than 2 hours from you. It's unrealistic that you are ever going to meet in person and if you do, have a stable relationship.
