I started this jouney last week, (I know, I know, only a week ago), but I have not lost a pound! I have been counting calories, quit drinking pop (dt. Mt. Dew), have been drinking tons of water a day (I have a liter and half bottle I've been drinking it and then a little more). I have also been doing No More Touble Zones since last Tuesday, and added 30 Day Shred Friday. I have not cheated once, and the only day I haven't exercised was Sunday. I have definitely noticed definition in my arms, and butt, but absolutely no weight loss at all! Not even a pound Last time I did this, I lost 10 lbs. fairly quickly. Just looking for motivation, and tips on how to jump start this! I don't want to give up, but I feel very discouraged today!

There are so many factors that go into weight loss. When I started over a year ago I found that my weight loss stopped when I started working out. Granted it's hard to say exactly why it stopped, could be from muscle soreness, building muscle, body freaked out by what the heck was going on, but regardless it stopped. I managed to continue through that and then I started losing even faster than I did before I was working out.
I know it's frustrating and we wish we had all the answers. Best thing to do is exactly what you are, get as much information as you can, weed through what sounds right for you and try to be patient.
If you are being honest to yourself, doing everything you should be doing you just need to give your body some time to adjust. Ultimately it's not about the number on the scale but about creating a healthier version of you and if you are doing what you know you should than that is more important than whatever the scale says. I try to judge my week based on how well I ate and exercised and put more emphasis on that than the number. Granted the number is a byproduct of that hard work but you can't control what the scale is going to do but you can control what you put in your mouth and the amount and quality if exercise you do. Be proud of that!0
