I'm all for people loving themselves. I believe that is the first step to happiness. However, I HATE the new campaign that's saying 'FAT IS HEALTHY!' No, I'm sorry. I am fat. It is not healthy. Before I started working out I NEVER woke up and was like, "Man. I feel so healthy today! I can go dance for more than 5 minutes without getting winded!" I felt tired, my skin looked terrible, my hair did, too! I am not suggesting that everybody should be thin and fit, but I being OBESE is NOT healthy. At all. Your body is not meant to weigh that much, it's hard to support that much weight, and your muscles/bones/joints are going to pay the price do to your lack of action.

    Just my opinion.

Your POV were very on point.I do believe one has to accept what they are in order to work through it.Acceptance is the last step into changing things. One can accept and change or accept and remain.I do become disgusted when I see fat people eating a two piece and a pepper with no care in the world.I use to hate myself for being fat.Like take my own life bc of my weight.I finally accepted that I may be fat now but I don't have to remain..

It makes me mad when I see people, especially women, saying how being fat or overweight isn't unhealthy and how it is okay. It really isn't. There was a point where I said that I accepted my size, but that was because I loved food way too much and thought that dieting was too hard. I have changed the way that I think which is why I am still working out every day and watching what I eat. I fully believe that people who say that only do so because they don't want to change.
