Hi Megan! Since this forum is based in the US, the guidelines require we post in English here. I'd love to be friends and we can chat in German through messages or on status in the news feed / profile. I took 4 courses of German in college a year or so ago and have not been able to practice regularly. I've also been with my guy for a while, in Oct. it will be 5 years :)

Hello! I'm Nikki, I'm 23 years old, and I live in New Brunswick, Canada. I've studied German for two years. I find it difficult to speak, but I love the language. Maybe we can send each other messages, in order to improve our German!

There's a group for German speakers and learners: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/624-german

I'd never read the community guidelines ( http://www.myfitnesspal.com/welcome/guidelines ) but they do say this:
    18. Please Post In English On The Main Forums

Because we need to ensure that our English-speaking moderator team can properly understand and evaluate all posts, we request that all posts on the Main Forums are made in English. If you wish to post in a different language, we encourage you to join a language-specific group.
