I'm going to start taking my own lunch when I go to school. I got those ziploc things like Bob was showing on the Biggest Loser. What kind of food could I take? I may or may not have access to a refrigerator/microwave.
Thanks in advance!

raw veggies - with or without dip ( red pepper, cucumber, broccoli, celery, pea pods are all my favs )
string cheese
cheese cubes - regular or low fat
Those are regulars for me. I also grill chicken for the week on Sunday afternoons, then each morning I cut up 1 breast. I like it cold with the veggies.
You could add a salad with cut up left over meats & cheeses & veggies.
I use an insulated bag & it keeps my chicken cold for the 5 hours till lunch time. You could partially freeze a bottle of water & let it keep your lunch cold, then drink it for lunch & refill the next day. I've done that before, too.
You just need to think it through & plan ahead.0
