Water Zumba

Ok, I did a water zumba class last night. I know I didn't do all the moves exactly correctly but I did fairly close. But I have to say, I'm not really convinced that it's useful. Hard to figure out how hard I was actually working. In the pool, so no sweating. But didn't feel that I got my heartrate up for any amount of time. Sure, some of the moves were hard and took some strength. But I just didn't feel like I was having to work very hard. Certainly wasn't as much exertion as some of the water aerobics classes I've seen.
Anybody done this type of water workout?

I haven't done the AquaZumba yet, we will be starting that this summer, but I have done water aerobics & its the resistance you get from the water.0

If possible, get yourself a heart rate monitor. It'll show you how many calories you burned and most HRM these days are waterproof.0
