I always log half the time for housework, it always seems way too high to me.

Same here, I always check the numbers, but do only half...or less, just because it seems way to high at times.

4 hours?! I wish I had the energy to clean for four hours, my house would be emaculate! Anyway, try this website, it bases calories burnt on your weight. I checked to see what mine would be for four hours and it was over a thousand!

    PS

I also don't add my excercise until the end of the day. I don't like to use the "earned calories" it makes me feel as though it's just an excuse to over-eat. Not that I reccomend it for everyone, but if you're set at eating oh say... 1400 calories, and you earn 200 calories and you eat your alloted calories AND "earned calories you're eating like 1600 calories...or however they determine what you've "earned", instead of just the 1400 you were set at. I don't know if that's right or not, but that's how I do it!

I'll stick down half the time I think, and lol It wasnt even my house that I was cleaning its a part of my job to clean canal barges, and generally it takes 4 hours to clean one properly.

seeing as though it's part of your job, it should be under your accounted for under your general activity level- ex- sedentary, lightly active, moderately active, etc. I don't add things like cleaning unless they are at a level very out of the ordinary for me.
