Paleo: is it more suited to men than women?

Am just curious, as any of the paleo authors and gurus are men (Mark Sissons, Art de Vany) and in my experience men embrace the whole meat eating, lift heavy, sprint way of life far more willingly than women. I think the paleo lifestyle has a lot going for it, but wonder if women have a harder time embracing the whole 'hunter gatherer' lifestyle..?

I think it appeals to men more initially. I did the zone diet years ago and find them to be similar. My husband and I have gone Paleo together. I have suffered from migraines and other hypoglycemia related problems much of my life....until starting the zone. The closure I go to Paleo, the lower carbs I eat ...the better I feel. For me, 80 to 100 grams seem to be ideal. I eat tons for fruit and veggies....protein etc...... But I still eat dairy so I'm note totally paleo. I know that some people can eat more carb and my kids certainly do..... It's all about finding your sweet spot. My husband has difficulty losing weight and had been counting calories and working out like a maniac for a long time, cross-training, etc..... And was looking at why his weight hasn't budged. We are both feeling better already.
