I went from 135 to 190lbs (!!) during my first pregnancy, My daughter took up a lot of room! I gut, which was once cute and small, is now riddled with 3D stretch marks, sags, and is just plain fat and ugly. I try to keep up with my exercise, but it's the appearance of my stomach that demotivates me the most. To add on to that, whenever I complain about it, somebody will always say, "Oh, get used to it, it will be that way forever."
Mommies who had a huge weight gain/huge skin stretch, how do you cope with the new appearance of your stomach and how did/are you improving its appearance?

Hiya, my stomach and weight seemed to balloon after i stopped breastfeeding. I never had a flat stomach but my "podge" (lovingly nicknamed tangerine) never bothered me. Now im left with a deflated balloon and could easily pass for being 5 months pregnant. so i started wearing really baggy shapeless clothes to try and hide it.
My first mission was to stop eating so much processed fatty foods. I used to skip breakfast then snack on little bits all day before having a HUGE fatty meal once baby was in bed. Now i eat at least 4-5 times a day and have cut my calories a hell of a lot.
Iv also just started doing (literally finiahed day 1 about 20 mins ago) the 30 day shred. (as well as as much walking with the pushchair as weather allows) So many people on here have had amazing results with it so im giving it ago. If you have a look in people success photos so many women with "an empty bag" have managed to lose it and tone it... it just takes time and perserverance.
And to anyone that tells you you'll have it forever... just smile and nod then in a few months when its lovely and flat and toned whip ya top off and shout " CHECK THIS OUT IM A HOT MAMA!!" xx
p.s. iv sent a friend request0
