HERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO SPAGHETTI....QUICK, EASY, NUTRICIOUS AND VERY LOW CAL!!!

SPAGHETTI SQUASH BAKE
SERVES 8 / 230 CALORIES PER SERVING

1 SPAGHETTI SQUASH
2 CUPS MARINARA
1 EGG
1.5 CUPS MOZERELLA CHEESE
1 LB GROUND TURKEY
1 CAN DICED TOMATOES – DRAINED
ITALIAN SEASONING
ONION - DICED

WITH A SHARP KNIFE, PIERCE HOLES IN SQUASH.
MICROWAVE SQUASH FOR 10 MINUTES AND LET SIT IN MICROWAVE FOR ANOTHER 5 MINUTES AFTER COOKING

SLICE IN HALF LENGTHWISE
SHRED INSIDE WITH FORK TO MAKE “SPAGHETTI”

BROWN GROUND TURKEY, ADD ITALIAN SEASONING, ONION

AFTER TURKEY IS BROWNED, ADD DICED TOMATOES & HALF OF THE MARINARA – KEEP WARM

MIX BEATEN EGG AND ½ CUP MOZERELLA

IN ROUND CASSEROLE DISH, LAYER SPAGHETTI – ON BOTTOM AND UP SIDES

EGG/MOZERELLA MIXTURE

TURKEY / TOMATO/MARINARA MIXTURE

TOP WITH REMAINING MOZERELLA CHEESE

BAKE 350 FOR 20 MINUTES
