I have 50lbs left to lose. Im 5'7 and weigh 215. I burn between 250 and 500 calories in exercise a day, mostly cardio. I work 4 nights a week doing a physical retail jog which includes lots of walking, lifting, bending and often pulling heavy loads.
I was losing 1.5-2.5lbs most weeks up till now, but the last few weeks have lost very little to nothing.
Believe perhaps Im needing to adjust my goals to losing less now. Anyone have suggestions or advice.
I eat 100g protein most days, limit my sodium and eat back half my exercise calories most days.

Sometimes it's just about keeping going. When you hit that plateau hide the scales for a week and just keep doing exactly what you're doing and you'll see it will all just fall off.
Also it's good to change it up on the exercise routine, jump rope and swimming are great cardios.0 -
You're doing great so far!! And if it was this time last year, we'd be weight loss twins - I'm also 5'7" and was 210 when I joined MFP last year.
I'm assuming you're at a 2 pound/week goal right now - if that's true, I would suggest switching to 1.5 pounds per week.
Could be you need to switch up your workouts a little - if you've been doing the same thing for a while, your body gets used to it and you don't get the same bang for your buck. Maybe add some strength training and kick up the speed or resistance of your cardio.0 -

This happened to me. I changed the type of cardio exercise I was doing, and that helped. I also ate slightly more (very small snacks like veggies) every 2-3 hours. I eat dinner at 6:30, exercise at 7:30, and don't eat again until breakfast. This is what helped me, but everyone is different, and unfortunately, you''ll just have to experiment with what works for your body. Good luck!0
