Looking for Support & Ideas!

Hi! I'm sort of new to MFP......but I'm loving how it helps me track everything I am doing and eating.

I am a 28 year old wife and mother who loves to cook! I am starting to get really into whole/natural foods. I am finding that I really enjoy exercise. I like trying new things and pushing my body.

I started out at 230 (in mid-December) and I am now down to 217. My goal is to get down to 180. Once I hit 200, I want to stop and maintain that for a few months.

I am blessed with a very supportive husband and a group of friends that enjoy exercise and physical activity......but since most of them are already in shape, I would love to have some friends here that understand the struggle of losing weight! I would also like to swap recipes and healthy eating tips!

  • This site is fabulous for support, motivation, and new ideas!! I too love to cook and have been getting into the whole foods!! I'm excited to watch my body change and see what the future brings!!
    Stay positive, stay focused, and never get discouraged by setbacks.....you can do this!

    I agree this site is awesome! One thing that has really helped me stay on track and keep focused and get tons of support and inspiration are the group challenges....check thru them or watch the boards and when you see when that strikes your fancy JOIN it!!!!! It helps to have others working on specific goals together. :)
