1/2" in four days?

I took my measurements on Saturday because I hadn't done it for a while and I wanted to see results somewhere in case my scale decided to stop moving. I had some extra time this morning while getting ready for work so I measured my waist and hips and they were both about half an inch smaller than what I measured Saturday. I remeasured about 4 times to make sure I did it right and I got the same half inch loss all times. My waist is very defined so I know I'm definitely doing it in the same spot each time. Is that really possible? To lose half an inch in about 4 days?

Yes, it's called a whoosh. When you are losing you can build up water there and when that finally leaves you are left with a fast loss. I had been waiting for my most recent whoosh to happen as I could feel the water build up, when it finally went over the course of a week I lost an inch off my belly. (Granted I have a larger belly.)0
