Polar FT60 Women's Heart Rate Monitor

So I have the Polar FT60 Women's Heart Rate Monitor. Lately it has been having a hard time finding my HR. I got it for Christmas and the battery should not be bad. It sometimes takes like 5 min of me having it on before it gets my HR. If I am going outside it is 30 deg out and I am not waiting for 5 min to start my run outside... brr... suggestions?!

    On my Ft4 you have to be sure to wet the pads or it wont read until I start sweating.. otherwise IDK I would look at troubleshooting in the manual or contact polar..
