Mind reader! I was just thinking of starting a topic because I need some new music to run to. :)

I just got done watching United States of Tara on Netflix, and heard "Come Alive" by Hanni El Khatib on one of the episodes. It's now my go-to song for starting a run!

(Just watched the video for the first time now.. it's kind of hilarious/disturbing...)

I have started listening to Pandora Radio while I am biking. There are actually a couple of "workout" stations that are excellent and upbeat.

    Rihanna
    Enur (My Favorite!!)
    Pitbull
    David Guetta
    Far East Movement

Just a few artist that play on those stations

Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Metallica, plus some odds and end songs........those are the main ones I play while lifting, or when out on my mountain bike. When walking or riding the stationary, I will either play pandora, shuffle my entire mp3 files, or if the gym has a good show on I will tune into that with my FM tuner.

  • I'm more of a rock girl, personally. XD When I need my blood pumping it's Metallica, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Skillet, Dragonforce, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, The Rival Sons, The Pretty Reckless, a bit of Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson...

    In specific:

There's an artist on youtube by the name of "bliix" that does rock/metal remixes of pop and hiphop songs. He has a like... 80 song pack for free download SOMEWHERE. Worth iiiit. Especially when you get my mom and I in the same room. She gets the pop and rap, I get my shredding guitar solos. XD

Make Me Wanna Die and Miss Nothing by The Pretty Reckless. <3 Those ones stick out to me right now.

OH. And anything and EVERYTHING by Beats Antique for when I'm in a bit more of a dancing mood. :3

For all the ladies out there Gabriella Cilmi 'On a Mission' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVWA5avUI-0

Whenever I feel like giving up or ending my workout early, I put this on, turn it way up and knuckle down. The lyrics, beat, everything is just instant motivation.

Listen to it and you'll see what I mean :)
