eating bmr + weight lifting

Options
I don't have much time to go to the gym on a daily basis this semester but I was considering buying some weights to lift at home and hopefully tone up my arms. So since I'm sedentary most days I'm eating at my bmr of 1550. If I were to lift weights would I need to up my calories at all or just my protein? Also how much protein should I be eating to correctly gain muscle. I'm 5'8 158.8

Thanks for the help!!!

No-- lift the weights. Don't boost anything.
At your calorie level you should be fine unless you start intense workouts of 1-2 hours.
