Is this anyone else's thought when they see people complaining about how they can't eat enough to reach their calorie goals? haha I just think it's funny how different people can be!

People seem to have forgotten the existence of chocolate. I can sink a 5000 calorie bar of that without thinking about it >.>0

I think they just want to show off :grumble:
makes me really sick when people complain about how they can't meet the calorie needs.
cereal + milk = 200
sandwich = 500
greek yogurt= 100
wrap = 500
That's it, you are above 1200 calories without trying :grumble:0 -
I know...it makes me wonder what thay are actually eating. Like...all veggies? How do they go under their goal and are never hungry??? I go under my goal and I feel it!0
-
some of us have calorie goals higher than 1200 calories and work out a lot. just saying.0

I have commented on a few peoples status's saying I wouldn't survive off their calorie daily allowance, too low! But also wish I could0

OMG..I am freaking dying over here!!
Funny story....a friend of mine was on an airplane next to a large woman. About mid-flight this lady pulls out a bag of Fritos...no big deal, fritos are tolerable. But then she goes back in her bag and pulls out a tub of butter. What is she going to do you ask??
What else but use the butter like bean dip!!!! My friend about lost her lunch over that one!! EEEWWW!!0 -
Most days, I enjoy every last one of my 1800-2000 calories.
Of course there's a random day every once in a while that the kiddo has an awful morning and I don't get a chance to get a real breakfast before work, and my brain was so frazzled that I forgot my snacks, and I have to listen to my tummy yell at me all day and have no way of downing 1500 calories for dinner when only healthy stuff is in the house, but I sure do have fun trying!
Food is fuel.
Yummy, yummy fuel.0 -
haha so true... do they have no food? even eating crackers one at a time until you eat what you need sounds fine if it's really that hard0

I admit that I have to bite my tongue every time I see one of those threads. I always think, "surely you didn't have any problem before because you now are overweight and I highly doubt that happened on a sub 1200 calorie diet." There may be some exceptions, but it's like come on. Eat some meat, eat some nuts and I'm not talking about sexual favors.0

2200 here before I do any exercise. I add 500 to that about 4 times a week and 800-1000 extra on the other days. And on Sunday, I eat 800 above my TDEE before exercise. It is not hard, really.0 -
All the time. Have a handful of almonds or some peanut butter (yeah I said it!) and the calories are gone! I work out just to enable myself to eat more!0
-
it is and it isn't hard (thats what she said...okay, i'm done).
when i upped my calories a little, it was like, "oh look, and extra 200 calories? guess i'm having me some scotch!" you do have to be mindfull of trying to fill your calories with healthy things, so thats why maybe people have trouble with it.0 -
Yeah it kinda gets me. I have NO problems eating my 1650 before exercise calories. Some days, I do a 2nd workout so I can eat more :laugh:0

ditto. I burn 800~ish cals 5 days/week at the gym and I ~never~ have SO much of a problem finding something to eat, that I will logon to the internet and ask other people what to do about it. Like I said, eat some butter. Just saying.0 -
Honest to god I can't imagine ever having that problem. I tend not to believe them when they say that unless they are a large body builder type person.0
-
The only time I have issues finishing my calories is when I'm sick (like right now) and have no appetite. Today I forced myself to eat enough to get close to my calories and now my stomach is upset
P.S. I don't think eating butter will help the situation but I'll keep it in mind LOL0
