Oh hey, this is fun!
Once a month or so there are the staples - olive oil, roasted almonds no salt, oat bran lentils, quinoa (I buy it in bulk at Costco or in the bulk bins at Whole Foods), spices - cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, mustard seeds, etc. (I buy seeds and freshly grind them when possible), real sugar and honey for tea, nutritional yeast and wheat gluten for making seitan, sriracha, a can of Slimfast powder for blending with milk/ice/banana, for something shake like, tea and coffee.
Once a week:
Canned goods:
garbanzo beans
lite coconut milk
diced tomatoes (no salt added)
Fresh goods:
eggs (I eat the whole egg and it)
skim or 1% milk (my housemate and I fight over this)
tiny whole milk just for coffee
butternut squash is my new complete addiction
Bell peppers - I bought a bulk bag of mini peppers last week, they're great.
bananas and apples
And then I get a vegetable box from my food coop, so I get lots of random whatever's in season/available.
Garlic
Ginger root
And then Kashi Go Lean, Kashi Go Lean Crunch, and the new Cinnamon Crumble. Sometimes Fiber 1. I like mixing all my cereal together. Sometimes I eat Kashi for breakfast, sometimes oat bran, sometimes a Slimfast shake. Sometimes just dinner leftovers. I get bored easily.0 -
